I was recently invited to discuss the problem of evil with Pete Goulding and friends on the Theology for the Curious podcast. The episode can be found here. We covered various angles on the topic, many of which I treat in more detail in my essay “Whence This Evil? Toward a Biblical Theodicy” in the book Ruined Sinners to Reclaim (Crossway, 2024).

My first two (of three) installments on my site in May were intended to represent Molinism fairly in order to identify some key differences between it and Calvinism. With particular relevance to the present subject of evil, I take up the question of whether Calvinism finds protection under “non-closure of intentions under known entailment.” I argue that it does not, yet that Molinism does. Here is a link to the essay, which I trust is relevant. https://philosophical-theology.com/2026/05/15/god-sin-and-non-closure-a-critique-of-the-calvinist-defense/
